Jonathan Cristaldi Rates Portree Cellars

Wine critic Jonathan Cristaldi ,founder and lead critic for Cristaldi & Co and Napa Correspondent for Decanter, awarded Portree Cellars 2021 Mourvedre from Parr Vineyards 93 points during a recent Texas Hill Country wine tasting. Describing it as “a meaty, intense and deeply flavored wine…framed by muscular, firm tannins, complemented by savory charcuterie and white pepper notes. A hint of vanilla bean and chocolate adds richness leading to a lengthy and powerful finish.”
