San Francisco Chronicle Awards Portree Cellars Gold for 2021 Montepulciano

The Portree Cellars 2021 Montepulciano recently received a gold medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. A favorite in the tasting room, this smooth wine is rich in dark fruit, especially blackberry, plum and dark cherry, with notes of leather, smoke and a pleasant oakiness and hints of almond and coconut.  Full bodied and velvety, it’s perfect now or aged for a special occasion.
